I completely understand what she's talking about. The only difference is that I had those spiritual awakenings in the opposite order. The problem with following such a controversial path is much like being the weird kid in high school. You're completely alone, an outsider to all, and it's easy to get depressed if you dwell on that too often. I pray that one day Christopaganism will no longer be so controversial and taboo, but I think it's got quite a ways too go.

Chant and Be Cursed! | Hail and Welcome! »It really makes me angry that Z Budapest is doing this. . . . Its childish.
Oh goodness. There was a girl and her “coven” going around harassing some Christopagans and Christian Witches with that one. I wanted to smack them. It was bad. They were honestly threatening people. For so called “wiccans” they broke nearly all the rules they were spouting. I kinda wish they’d come around my blog. Could get real interesting.

The Pagan Family: Post Modest »really funny awesome post. I, as a modest pagan, completely disagree with her "modesty comes from a puritanical worldview" position, as modesty as we think of it (clothing covering most if not all of the body) can be seen in many Pagan peoples throughout history! Greek and Celtic women covered most of their bodies! Clothing in the past was seen as an adornment. Adornments meant wealth, so the more you wore, the wealthier and more noble you appeared. But I also completely understand where she's coming from too.
